Elegant pair of Holger Johansson wall lamps deisgned and produced in the 60's by Westal. The lamp are composed with a brass core and a nice glass globe. Good overhall condition.

About the designer : Holger Johansson was active in Sweden in the mid-20th century and is primarily associated with lighting and metalwork, working very much within the Nordic modernist tradition.
He was trained as a metal craftsman and worked during the period when Swedish design was moving from decorative classicism toward functional, socially minded modernism. Johansson’s work typically emphasizes clarity of form, honest materials, and restrained proportions, aligning him with the ideals promoted by Swedish design institutions and exhibitions in the 1940s–1960s.
