Rare pair of pendants attributed to Kai Ruokonen, made in solid brass with 4 rings and a glass diffuser. The overhall condition is good and the lamp has a good patina with trace of use and age. The lamp is composed by 4 lamp shade rings hold them together by three small poles. On the bottom of the lamp a glass diffuser is here to hide the light buble from the eyes. Kai Ruokonen is one of the most influent finnish designer and as work for many project such as the famous Vaakuna Hotel in Helsinki along side with : Paavo Tynell and Alvar Aalto. His work can be related to other scandinavian designer such as Hans Agne Jakobsson, Carl Axel Acking or Axel Einar Hjorth.
