Important set of 25 kronan candel sticks design by Pierre Forssell and produced by Skutuna in the 80's. Each candel sticks are made in solid brass. The whole collection can be set up in differents shapes and order. Each piece is stamp by the producer.

About the designer : Pierre Forssell was born in 1925 and started his artistic education at Konstfack (Stockholm’s University of Arts, Crafts and Design). He began on the decorative painting track, but soon switched to metalwork / silversmithing. From 1955 until about 1986 Forssell worked for Skultuna Messingsbruk (Skultuna), one of Sweden’s oldest brass foundries. There he played a major role in modernizing the firm’s output. From the mid-1960s and onward he increasingly focused on brass, working in a special “studio/atelier” at Skultuna where he had considerable artistic freedom. In this period he created a distinct, modernist — often geometric — form language: his pieces often used basic shapes (spheres, cylinders, cubes, cones) turned into vases, candlesticks, lamps, boxes etc.
